We just drove back into NC from Georgia and it was so nice to have food well-made and fresh again. This is a nice little place with a small well-made selection of options. I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and cabbage. I could taste the fresh ingredients. My partner had a double cheeseburger and the best french fries. The fries were Crisp and delicate. I stole several. The restaurant's name was different than Google, but it's the same place.
While travelling 95, we pulled off and stopped here for a quick lunch. It was a Saturday and all they had to offer were burgers and sandwiches. We ordered chicken salad and ham & Swiss sandwiches and neither were available. Buffet only available on Sundays.
Always love coming here with the family, definitely worth that wait for Mrs. B's food! The buffet has a big selection of southern comfort food. There is also a salad bar and lots of desserts to chose from. There is a box of gloves by buffet, which are mandatory to wear when in that room. Staff is like family and make you feel at home.
